On behalf of the Parents Across Cultures Board and the Foreign Language Department, we would like to cordially invite you to our 9th Annual Taste of Diversity on Sunday, February 24th, 2019 from 3:00-5:00pm in the Ellis Gym.
Our theme this year is Explore and Savor Our Global Village!. This fun activity features our Foreign Language student exhibits, wonderful food provided by students and parents and entertainment from countries around the world. This is a free event open to all students, parents and members of our community at St. Xavier High School.
We would like to thank you for your leadership and your continued support of an environment which includes and values all cultures at St. X.
Telling Stories the Ignatian Way
Students gathered on Wednesday, February 13, for the 4th annual Ignatian Values Day. Students Michael Srinivasan '19 and Robert Waddell '19 (shown) shared their stories of Companionship and how connection with others is a value of St. Ignatius of Loyola. Students also attended other storytelling sessions which included film, dance and music.
Will Ogburn '19, gave a live demo on how to properly set up a freshwater fish tank. Will is an expert on river tanks and his advice is sought after in the fish world. He is also the President of the Marine Biology Club.
