Mission Statement

Rooted in Jesuit and Catholic tradition, St. X BOLD fosters a community of belonging where every student and adult is seen, valued, and called to lead with integrity. We cultivate understanding, responsibility, and faith-driven action that reflect God’s love and the dignity of all people.

At St. X we are committed to valuing Diversity in our students, administration, faculty and staff by respecting and celebrating their unique backgrounds, experiences and perspectives which will ultimately shape the inclusive environment that will make us better. We embrace it as a core value and continuously seek ways to learn, grow and transform. Treating everyone with dignity and respect is most important to our leadership, to each other and, to our students and families.

Vision Statement

St. X BOLD envisions a school community where inclusion is integral to formation, where belonging deepens faith, learning broadens perspective, and dignity guides service. Through education, dialogue, and accompaniment, we strive to form young men who are BOLD: courageous in compassion, intentional in leadership, and committed to justice in the spirit of St. Ignatius.

We cultivate spaces where every member of the St. X community experiences authentic connection and shared purpose. Belonging at St. Xavier means being known, respected, valued and celebrated, not only for who you are, but for who you are becoming. Through affinity groups, mentorship, inclusive programming, and daily relationship-building, we aim to foster an environment where students, faculty, and staff feel rooted in a common mission and empowered to bring their full selves to the community. It is in this spirit of inclusion and mutual respect that we form Men for Others who lead with empathy, humility, and courage.

O - Opportunity

Rooted in the Jesuit mission of forming Men for Others, we create pathways for students, faculty, and staff to engage fully in academic, spiritual, and personal development, regardless of background or starting point. Opportunity at St. X means removing barriers, expanding access, and ensuring that each person has what they need to discover and live out their full God-given potential. Whether through inclusive admissions outreach, leadership programs, academic supports, or culturally responsive engagement, we are committed to building a school environment where opportunity is not reserved for a few, but extended to all.

L - Learning

“Finding God in all things” begins with curiosity and humility.

We commit to lifelong learning through education, reflection, and open dialogue, recognizing that learning is not confined to the classroom. At St. Xavier, learning happens everywhere: in conversations between peers, in service to others, in moments of challenge and discomfort, and in the quiet spaces where students reflect on who they are becoming. Rooted in the Jesuit practice of discernment and magis (the pursuit of more), our community embraces a growth mindset that values curiosity, critical thinking, and the courage to ask deeper questions. We encourage students, faculty, and staff to lean into both their strengths and their stretch areas, knowing that every interaction is an opportunity to grow in understanding, empathy, and leadership. In doing so, we form a culture where learning is shared, sacred, and ongoing, for the benefit of the individual and the entire community.

D - Dignity

We affirm that the sacred worth of each person is the foundation of a just and compassionate school community. At St. Xavier, we believe that every individual is created in the image and likeness of God, and therefore possesses inherent dignity that must be honored, protected, and celebrated. This belief compels us to create a culture where students, faculty, and staff are not reduced to the surface level, but are known in their full humanity, with their stories, strengths, struggles, and spirit. Upholding dignity means challenging injustice, speaking against marginalization, and creating systems where everyone has equitable access to opportunity, belonging, and voice. Whether in the classroom, the locker room, or the lunchroom, we strive to model respect, compassion, and empathy as the foundation for every relationship and decision. In doing so, we mirror the Gospel call to love one another and to build a community that reflects God’s justice and mercy.
