Leadership Opportunities

Ambassadors of Xcellence: Freshmen/Sophomores: The Ambassadors of Xcellence are a vital part of St. Xavier’s official shadowing program – Xperience Days. Ambassadors guide potential St. Xavier students around campus during their academic day visit and leave a great impression on students who are trying to choose their high school.

Student Athletic Director Team: This team assists with the everyday operations of the St. Xavier Athletic Department. There will be one or two students designated as the leader(s) for each season (Fall, Winter, Spring) and he/they will conduct the meetings. Students will learn what goes on behind the scenes of the Athletic Department and will help with game day operations at the different home events. Students will also be challenged to cover sporting events as a student reporter and write an article for the website on the event they cover. This team would be a good opportunity for those students who may be interested in pursuing Sports Administration as a major in college or for those students who like to be around athletics and contribute in a different way outside of playing.

Student Development Chairmen: The chairmen position that is generally held by 12 to 18 seniors each year has a primary focus of helping coordinate efforts by our students for the annual fund phonathon and annual Senior Class Gift program. These two events are just some of the many leadership opportunities you will experience as a Student Development Chairman. Students must submit a form in the spring to the development office if they choose to apply to be a SDC member. All forms will be reviewed and students will be notified if they are chosen to be part of the SDC.
