Build Something Big Club: The goal of the BSBC is to combine varied disciplines of creativity into one club to complete a large project that will be installed or used around St. Xavier. The project we will be working on together may be an interactive object, it may be a large mixed media sculpture, maybe an art installation, maybe something functional, maybe a piece of furniture - projects will be large and awesome. We will be sharing our own ideas and soliciting project requests from clubs and people around school, and then members will be shown how to brainstorm, problem solve, and create plans, renderings, cut lists, and potentially digital 3D models. Once the idea is complete, we’re going to make it! If you are interested in woodworking / 3D printing / CNC / laser cutting / metal work / interactivity / prototyping / upcycling / coding / sculpture / graphic design / screen printing / poster design / drawing / painting / etc. and learning how to use these skills to actually make things, this club may be for you! It will be led by Mr. Brass, who has experience with multiple disciplines and being a project lead for regional museums, galleries, and corporations. Come learn what it takes to make something BIG! For more info, please email group moderator Mr. Brass (ebrass@stxavier.org), stop by my office in the Fine Arts wing, or scan the QR Code hanging outside my office to join the GroupMe and introduce yourself!

The Marching Band is open to all students regardless of experience or ability; however there are auditions for the Drum Line.
