The Varsity Golf Bombers traveled to Sharon Woods Golf Course today to play in the first of two 18-hole GCL Quads. The Bombers came in with a 40 shot lead over second place Elder. Sharon Woods Golf Course has a par of 70

The Bombers shot a team total of 292, which is good enough to extend their lead to 46 shots in the GCL South Championship after 54 holes played.  Senior Cameron Frazier led the way by shooting a two under 68. Frazier was followed by junior Oscar Zimmerman who shot a 73. Zimmerman had a double eagle two on the par 5 ninth hole. The next lowest score for the Bombers was a 75 shot by senior Garrett Madden.  The 292 total was rounded out by sophomore Jack Beckett who shot a round of 76.  Other scores for the Bombers came from senior Michael Prebles with a 78 and junior Trevor Gilmore with an 87.

The final 18 holes of the GCL Championship will be played at Glenview Golf Course tomorrow and will begin at 10am. The golf team looks to close out the GCL South Title which will be their third straight.
