We thank all who planned, volunteered for, and celebrated “There’s No Place Like Home For the Holidays” our Christmas Boutique, Luncheon and Fashion Show led by Chairperson Monica Dieckman. Over 750 women enjoyed shopping in our Boutique, sharing time with friends over lunch, and viewing the latest fashions. Performances by the Chamber Blues string ensemble and Something Blue choral group delighted those in attendance. All proceeds benefit Mothers’ Club efforts to provide support to our school and scholarships to deserving students.

Our next Mothers’ Club Mass will be celebrated in the Chapel on Monday, January 7th at 8:15 am. Please join us after Mass for coffee and refreshments. All are welcome.

Special thanks are extended to Open House volunteers who welcomed and served our guests on Sunday, November 11th. Many prospective students and their families had their first look at St. X and a chance to meet students, faculty, and staff.

Food For The Journey – The long awaited Bomber Soup has simmered and boiled over to become Food for the Journey, a 300-page keepsake book that will satisfy your hunger, move you to tears and fill you with joy as you peruse through page after page of delightful recipes, stunning illustrations and inspiring prayers and stories. Our new title and look better reflect the Ignatian belief that our search for God is a spiritual journey. The book captures many of the highlights and insights into our sons’ journey along this path during their years at St. X. It’s sure to become a treasured keepsake among graduates and veteran St. X moms as well as a valuable guide for those new to the Ignatian traditions of the school. Proceeds benefit qualified students at St. X through the Mothers’ Club Endowment Fund. Books are available for $25 at the Spirit Shop.

Donations may be made at any time to the St. Xavier Mothers’ Club Endowment Scholarship Fund. Consider donating to remember a loved one, to honor a special person or occasion, or as a present for someone “who has everything.” As this fund grows, its impact likewise increases. For more information on how to make a tax-deductible contribution, please contact: Andrew E. Sweeny, Jr. ’68, Major and Planned Gifts Officer, at 513-618-3262 or email asweeny@stxavier.org.

St. X Jewelry: Stop by the Spirit Shop for the "X" lapel pin, Bomber earrings, bracelets, necklaces and pendants. New this year are charms for your bracelets and necklaces: music, theater, football, track, lacrosse, basketball, wrestling, bowling & more. See flyer attached for more information.
