We thank you for supporting the Mothers' Club goal to provide service, spiritual, and social opportunities to our members. Special thanks is extended to parents who edited and published the directory this summer, took photo IDs in August and helped with Junior Challenge Day.

It is never too late to volunteer for Mothers Club events! You can find the volunteer form online at www.stxavier.org/mcvolunteerform. Forms will be available at Class Night, as well. If you are able to volunteer, check any events/activities which interest you, and a board member will contact you.

We thank you for supporting the Mothers’ Club goal to provide service, spiritual, and social opportunities to our members. Special thanks is extended to parents who edited and published the directory this summer, took photo IDs in August and helped with Junior Challenge Day.

Mothers’ Club relies entirely upon fundraising to support its activities throughout the year.  Many of our events are provided free of charge, e.g., Freshman Parent Welcome Coffee and Baccalaureate Reception.  Any financial donation to St. Xavier Mothers’ Club is greatly appreciated and directly benefits the students and faculty of St. X. Those making a donation of $20 or more will receive a Mothers’ Club exclusive “Saint Xavier – Men for Others” car decal (18” x 1.5”) and a St. Xavier refrigerator magnet.   Additional Student & Faculty directories may also be ordered for $5 each. Decals, magnets and extra directories will be available for pick up on Class Night, Sept. 13th.   Use the online volunteer form at www.stxavier.org/MCvolunteerform to make a donation.

Directories that were not picked up when ID pictures were taken will be available for distribution at Class Night, Sept. 13th, in the cafeteria.

The rivalry between St. Xavier and Elder extends from the football field to the kitchen -- a heart-healthy kitchen, that is.  For the third year in a row, Christ Hospital and The American Heart Association challenged the two schools to create tasty heart-healthy tailgate meals that meet the AHA guidelines.  The winning team earns $500 for their school! Come cheer on Team X on Friday, September 28th at Elder prior to the game!

All are invited to join us for a welcome, or welcome back, Fall Social on Tuesday, September 25th in rooms 1558 - 1560. We will have a social hour and a wine tasting. Please read this flyer for more details.

Mothers’ Club extends a special invitation to all Freshman Parents to join us for Mass on Monday, October 8th at 8:15 am in the Chapel. After Mass celebrated by Fr. Howe, we’ll enjoy light refreshments in room 1560 around the corner.

Boutique Workshops are now in progress every Wednesday from 9am – 2pm in the South Campus Building across the street behind the baseball fields. You may come once or every week, for as much of the day as you please. We have sewing and decorating projects that require some experience, as well as projects that begin with a base coat of paint or assembly with a glue gun. If you want to help but are concerned you have no experience, come to “Boutique Boot Camp” on September 5th and September 12th from 9:30 am to 10:30 am. We will have “how to” sessions in all areas of crafting. Whether you come the first time as a skilled crafter or as a novice, we are sure you will want to return to experience the community we share. Lunch is provided, and the advice from veteran St. X moms is free too! For more information, please e-mail: mothersclub@stxavier.org.

STOP AND SHOP!  Our St. X boys are counting on you for help.  Support the Mothers' Club Mission and simultaneously fulfill all of your St. X jewelry needs.  Items for the fall include the classic "X" and Bomber earrings as well as the classic "X" lapel pin and matching earrings in gold & silver. Contact Amy Lanzit at my3sons@fuse.net for ordering information or questions or stop by the Bookstore to check out the selections.
