Religious education at St. Xavier is integral to the formation of our students as young men who are growing into Men for Others. Through the teaching in all of our religion courses, we intend not only to educate the minds of our students, but also to move their hearts, inviting them to grow more deeply in relationship with themselves, with others, and with God.  As a result, St. Xavier students of all faiths experience our religion classrooms as welcoming places, places where they grow spiritually, are taken care of, and experience community.

Student Religious Diversity

St. Xavier students come from a variety of religious backgrounds including Buddhist, Catholic, Christian, Hindu, Jewish, Mormon, and Muslim.
