Families of the St. Xavier Class of 2023,

We are extremely excited to have so many wonderful young men joining the Long Blue Line next year.

Welcome to our weekly email communications that will take us through the end of May. I will share information that is general to the entire student body, so please read through each to find the pertinent information you desire.

Summer School:

Placement Tests:

  • Math (mandatory) and world language (optional) will take place on Saturday, March 30 beginning at 8 a.m.
  • More information will be emailed regarding placement tests.
  • A parent meeting will concurrently take place with Principal Tyrrell and his academic team in the Walter C. Deye SJ Performance Center. The meeting will give more information about our academic programs.
  • If you have questions, please contact the Office of Enrollment Management at 513-618-3258.

Online Course Requests for World Language and Fine Arts:

  • St. Xavier High School uses PowerSchool to provide you with access to your son's schedule, grades, attendance, and course registration for the upcoming school year.  Information on how to create your PowerSchool parent account and submit your son's Online Course Requests for World Language and Fine Arts will be coming later next week via a separate email.

  • We will do our best to honor your son's primary requests; but please keep in mind that factors such as staffing and class size may require students to be scheduled into their alternate requests.  Your son must be willing to take the alternate courses that he requests.  Each request must be different – he cannot select the same course as both a primary and alternate request.  Requests must be submitted in PowerSchool by Monday, March 25.

Accommodations & Student Academic Assistance:

  • St. Xavier High School recognizes that some students experience academic difficulties due to a learning disorder, attention issues, or other learning challenges.
  • Accommodations (e.g. extended time on classroom tests/quizzes/exams, preferential seating, physical needs assistance) for those learning challenges can be implemented.
  • To learn more about the student assistance available and to apply, please complete and submit the attached Accommodations Form by Friday, March 1 to Michelle Yauss at

Order your Personalized Class of 2023 Hoodie from the St. Xavier Spirit Shop. The royal blue sweatshirts are very popular on spirit-wear days (most Friday) and a great way to show your St. Xavier pride out in the community. Please see the attached form to place your order!

As always, if we can do anything to assist you navigate this transition, please feel free to contact the Office of Enrollment Management at 513-618-3258.
