The St. Xavier/CJRC Crew team qualified three boats for the Youth National Championships in Florida on the weekend of June 12-14 and competed at the highest level very well.  The lightweight 4+ boat finished 1st place in the nation.  The St. Xavier student athletes on that boat included senior Karl Quilligan and juniors John Robison and Andrew Seta.  The 4+ boat finished in 4th place in the nation and the student athletes on that boat included seniors William Burleigh and Nick Groh and junior Kyle Reed.  The 8+ boat finished in 9th place at nationals and that boat included seniors Chris TenEyck, TJ Waterkotte and John Wenk and juniors Benjamin Capannari, Nick Needham, John Schenk and Andrew Sizemore.  The team will miss the strong core of seniors that have graduated but thank them for their dedication and hard work to build the St. Xavier/CJRC Crew team into a national contender.
