The Ellis Gym was added during the expansion on campus in 2001.  It is a multipurpose gym used for intramurals, team practices and special events, including the Athletic Hall of Fame and X-Travaganza.

Keating Natatorium

Keating Natatorium is the home of the AquaBombers, St. Xavier’s swimming and diving team.  The eight-lane Olympic-sized pool was built in 1969.  The Cincinnati Marlins also use this facility.  There are boy’s and girl’s locker rooms, a large concession stand and a weight room specifically for swimmers.  The natatorium was refurbished in 2004 and features 626 permanent seats and a digital scoreboard.

St. Xavier Stadium and Ballaban Field

Built in 1962, Tom Ballaban Field at St. Xavier Stadium has seen many great teams play on its field, as the Bombers have fielded some
impressive teams.
However, by the late-1990s, the field had begun to deteriorate, as the facility did not have stadium lights, had a grass playing surface, and a seating capacity of under 4,000.
Then in 2000, the school and athletic department began a capital improvement campaign of $3.6 million for a new stadium and athletic facility. In 2004, St. Xavier completed the project, as the newly constructed Ballaban Field was opened to the public.
When opened, Ballaban Field was one of the best athletic facilities not just in the Cincinnati region, but all of Ohio. The seating capacity was increased to nearly 7,000, lights were added, and artificial turf was installed.
The facility also now includes a state-of-the-art press box, which can accomodate nearly 40 members of the media, along with coaches and game day staff.
In addition to football, Ballaban Field houses soccer, lacrosse, and rugby at St. Xavier as well as the Bomber Marching Band.
The namesake of the stadium is legendary Bombers head coach Tom Ballaban, a 1951 graduate, who played offensive line there and began teaching and coaching football in 1953. He accrued a 142-91-8 record in a quarter-century as head coach.

Tennis Complex

St. Xavier has a total of 17 hard-surface tennis courts situated on campus next to the home bleachers of St. Xavier Stadium.  The original five can be found near the main parking lot.  In 2017, the addition of 12 new state-of-the art courts expanded the presence of tennis on campus.

Beyond St. Xavier Stadium lies an eight-lane all-weather track surrounding a second artificial turf playing field.  The track has jump and pole-vault pits, as well as adjacent areas for shot put and discus competitions.
