St. Xavier High School marks it's 189th Anniversary of Jesuit education on October 17. St. Xavier currently enrolls approximately 1390 students and is one of the largest all-male Jesuit high schools in the United States. It is the fourth-oldest Jesuit institution in the United States – founded in 1831 with Xavier University.

St. Xavier alumni are known as The Long Blue Line. The Long Blue Line has more than 19,000 living alumni residing in 49 states and several countries.
