Several St. X music students participated in the annual Ohio Music Education Association (OMEA) Solo & Ensemble event at Anderson High School. Despite a weather advisory that canceled afternoon sessions, students adapted quickly by moving performances to the morning and handled the changes with calm and professionalism.

Students performed before judges and earned strong ratings across multiple difficulty levels:

• Benjamin Watras ’28 – Rating I (Class B), Cello
• James Vondrell ’29 – Rating I (Class C), Euphonium
• Safet Hatic ’27 – Rating II (Class A), Viola
• Ben Truong ’27 – Rating II (Class A), Violin
• Pierre Tardivon ’29 – Rating II (Class B), Cello
• Ean Miller ’29 – Rating II (Class C), Cello
