Last weekend the St. X Latin Club brought home many school and individual awards from the 74^th annual Ohio Junior Classical League Convention held in Columbus from March 7^th – 9^th.  

The Level 1 and Level 2 Certamen teams made it all the way to the Certamen Finals, placing #3 and #1 in the state!

Thanks to many stellar individual performances from all of the St. X students in attendance, the group finished the weekend #1 overall in academic contests, with two individuals finishing as the #1 (Ben Hofmann) and #5 (Urban Owens) academic performers across the entire field.

Urban’s colored pencil drawing The Strength of Hephaestus and Ben’s Latin sight reading performance were each awarded “Best in Show” among all entries at the event.
