Congratulations to the Quiz Team for their first-place finish in the Catholic Schools Week Heartland Catholic Scholar Bowl held on Saturday, 1/27. The field for this event included teams from Catholic high schools across the Midwest.
Not only did the Quiz Bombers take first place in the tournament, several players earned special recognition for being top individual scorers. From St. X’s JV team, freshman Ben Striet finished in 12th place overall and freshman John Paul Galles finished 3rd overall. For the varsity team, Senior Vikas Kothari placed 8th overall and sophomore Henry Joecken took top honors as the first-place scorer among all players at the tournament.
