Yesterday, we celebrated a very special endowment from Dr. Ida C. and Thomas A Schick ’58 for the St. Xavier Ethics Club. Dr. and Mr. Schick joined the Ethics Club meeting where they were presented with a plaque and then stayed for the club meeting. During the meeting they offered advice for student about ethics. They encouraged them to know their values and principles, understand the facts and to be inquisitive. They stated, “our gift helps you, so you are prepared for the world you are facing as Men for Others.” Dr. and Mr. Schick plan to attend more club meetings to work with students. Thank you to the Schick’s for their meaningful support which will impact St. Xavier, and the world, for years to come!
