This past weekend, St. Xavier’s Rocket League, Overwatch, and Valorant teams competed at the OHSAA Regional Esports Tournament at Miami University, delivering an outstanding performance.
Overwatch earned its first regional championship, securing a return to the State Tournament. Rocket League battled hard to finish as regional runners-up, earning a spot among the top eight teams in the state. On Sunday, Valorant staged an impressive comeback in Game 1 of the finals and went on to claim its first regional championship.
All three teams now advance to the State Tournament at the University of Cincinnati on March 7–8, where they will compete for state titles.
