CEI class

Over the past several weeks, students in our Entrepreneurship in Action class at the Leo H. Gerbus ’53 Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation rolled up their sleeves and got to work, literally.

As part of our End-to-End Problem Solving: Mini Maker Tank, teams spent multiple days in our Maker Space, turning their ideas into physical prototypes for MVP testing, user feedback, and iteration. From laser-cut components and 3D-printed parts to cardboard mockups and functional models, students experienced what real entrepreneurship looks like: identify a pain point, talk to users, design, build, fail, learn, and try again.

This hands-on approach is at the heart of our mission. For nearly 10 years, St. Xavier continues to be a pioneer in high school entrepreneurship and innovation education, empowering students to think creatively, act boldly, and solve real problems that matter.
