Last Tuesday, April 22 was Earth Day.  We celebrated throughout the week with a variety of activities planned by students on our Environmental Action Committee.    Beginning Monday and continuing through this week is a clothing drive in our cafeteria.  Tunes Tuesday's theme was Earth Day, there was a meditation in the outdoor classroom and also a tree was planted in honor of chemistry teacher Dr. Laughlin who passed away earlier this year.  Wednesday's Meet a Snake naturalist event was delayed till this week.  Thursday, Career ConneXions hosted roundtable talks from environmental and conservation professionals, and Friday a vegetarian option was available in the cafeteria.
