Service is more than an expectation of St. Xavier students, it's an honor. Students and staff went to Toppa Joppa, Tennessee, in partnership with Glenmary Home Missioners. Students spent time listening to residents, helping them clear fallen trees, cut and gather wood for home heating, and making improvements to homes to bring them to standard. Alumni often reflect on their mission experiences as one of the most profound lessons during their years at St. Xavier. Social distancing and preventive measures were used so that the students could help the residents with their housing needs before winter.
