Today, the Health and Physical Education hosted their annual cancer seminar.  Former Olympic runner, news reporter, and author Julie Isphording lead the discussion on the topics of health, cancer, and leadership in the medical industry.   A Q&A session with students and those in attendance also occurred with the quest speakers including:

• Dr. Bill Barrett: Director of the University of Cincinnati (UC) Cancer Institute, professor and chair of the department of radiation oncology at the UC College of Medicine and medical director of the UC Health Barrett Cancer Center; and,
• Mr. Cory D. Shaw: The new President and CEO of UC Health. Mr. Shaw will lead, build and strengthen UC Health during a crucial time in the health care industry. He is responsible for over 25,000 employees.
