The legacy of Michael Benson '99 lives on through music and sharing. Michael was a National Merit Finalist and talented musician who was admitted to the University of Michigan when he died in a car accident leaving his family and St. Xavier community in shock. Fellow members of the Class of 1999 rallied to create an endowment to support students at St. X as they grew in appreciation for music, especially Michael's favorite genre, Jazz. Through the years many have shared to support the Benson Family Trust in Michael's name. Please enjoy the 2021 presentation of the annual Michael Benson Band Jazz Concert
