KLEKAMP Albert F. Born May 5, 1915, the youngest of 5 children of Matilda (Pohl) Klekamp and Harry Charles Klekamp. Died on March 1, 2010. Devoted husband of the late Hermina Spitznagel Klekamp. Loving father of Gerald A. Klekamp ‘63, Michael (Susie) Klekamp ‘67, and Marsha (John Michael) Murphy. Preceded in death by his three brothers, Norbert, Charles, and Harry. Survived by his sister Jeannette Soellner of McRae, GA. Cherished by his grandchildren David ‘91(Gisella) Klekamp, Annie (Paul) Mulvany, Katie (Michael) Cotton, and Molly Klekamp. MURRER H. Scott. Born July 10, 1931 in Cincinnati to Marie Hunt Murrer and Herbert Charles Murrer. From Elder High School, went on to earn a Bachelor of Business Administration at the Univ. of Cinti. and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. He founded Modern Machinery Co., a distributor of high tech metal fabricating machinery, in 1959. Diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 1998, Scott continued to live and love life with humor, courage and steely determination with the support of his family and wonderful friends. He died peacefully at home on Saturday, February, 27, 2010, with his wife and family by his side. Scott was the beloved and devoted husband of Angela, proud father of Laura Murrer (Greg Jarvis), Linda Murrer (David Greener), Diana Murrer (T. Patrick Foy ‘71), H. William Burke Coleman, Sr., age 86, of Edgewood, Kentucky, passed away December 8, 2009 at the Hospice of St. Elizabeth Healthcare, after a long illness. Born in Falmouth, Kentucky, on July 12, 1923, he was the son of the late John J. and Ella Burke Coleman. He and his beloved wife, Betty Reynolds Coleman, have been blessed with 55 years of marriage, 5 children and 14 grandchildren. Bill worked for Ashland Oil, Inc. for 30 years, distributing gasoline and fuel oil to service stations and residences in Northern Kentucky. He has been a member of St. Pius X Church for 43 years. Bill spent his youth in Falmouth and on his farm in Hayes Station, and after retiring enjoyed spending time on his farm in Butler. He was known to many as one who loved his family, was devoted to his faith and community, and cherished his Irish heritage. Those who knew him enjoyed his quick smile, his Irish wit and his gentle sense of humor.He is survived by his children: William B. (Maureen) Coleman, Jr., of Columbus, Ohio; Ellen A. (Robert) Isfort, and Julie M. (Paul) Franke ‘80, both of Fairfield, Ohio; Kathleen M. Thomas was the beloved father of Beth Ann Lang (nee Clarke), Victoria Lynn Clarke and Thomas John Clarke IV ‘89 and married for 30 years to Joyce Clarke. Thomas was born February 12, 1938, in Cincinnati, OH, to the late Thomas and Margaret Clarke. He attended St. Xavier High School ('56) and received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Ohio State University ('62). He was awarded a prestigious Angell Memorial Animal Hospital internship in Boston, MA ('63). He was a veterinarian for 43 years with an animal hospital in Kenwood and clinics in Milford and Wyoming. During his illustrious career, Thomas received numerous honors and served as Director of the American Animal Hospital Association, Cincinnati Veterinary Medical Association and Ohio Veterinary Medical Association. He also served for 9 years as Vice President of the Hamilton County Board of Health and 12 years on the Indian Hill Board of Health. Thomas acted as an Ohio State University Practitioner Lecturer for 11 years and was a lifetime member of the American Animal Hospital Association. He represented Veterinary Medicine for the U.S. State Department in Germany, Denmark, England, Ireland, Scotland, Australia and New Zealand ('84-'86). Thomas was also the 113th President of the Friendly Sons of St. Patrick ('81) and served as a Trustee in the organization for 29 years. A devout Catholic and member of St. Gertrude's parish in Madeira, Thomas was truly a man for others. Immediately following retirement in 2004, Thomas devoted himself to helping the elderly and tutoring children with the St. Vincent de Paul Society. The eldest of 10 children, Thomas is survived by Richard, Steven, Timothy, Mary Catherine, Martin, Patrick and Bernie, his son-in-law Bruce Lang, and adored by his nine-year-old granddaughter Natalie Grace. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and numerous friends. Thomas was truly a loving spirit who touched and blessed countless lives. As God's faithful servant, Thomas's ceaseless devotion to Mary and Jesus is the hallmark for which he will be remembered. SCOTT, Neal A. age 79, of Centerville, passed away February 6, 2010. Neal was born June 14, 1930 in Youngstown, Ohio, to parents George S. Scott and Flaval Tullis Scott. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers George, Jack, Robert, David, and Richard. He leaves his sister, Anita (Steve) Chlebus of Erie, Pennsylvania. He is survived by his loving wife, Pearl, to whom he would have been married for 50 years on April 23, 2010, his daughters, Kara (Gregg ‘75) Feltrup of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Nita (Scott) Teeters, of Waynesville, Ohio, and six grandchildren Scott ‘08, Kevin ‘09, Andy’12 and Mark Feltrup and Holly and Ryan Teeters. He proudly served in the U.S. Army 1946-1958 and was on the front lines in the Korean War. He worked hard all of his life and was employed over the years by DESC, Chrysler Airtemp and Wright Patterson Air Force Base as well as having owned and operated his own HVAC business, the Neal/Scott Company. He was most proud of his family, his Scottish heritage and his service to his country. He was a member of Southminster Presbyterian Church as well as a member of John W. Durst Lodge #716 and the Scottish Rite. The family will be forever grateful for the love and care provided during his final days by the Quaker Heights Nursing Home in Waynesville, Ohio, and the amazing staff of Crossroads Hospice. BOVE Orlando A. "Lon" Bove, 89 of Naples, Florida and Newport, Kentucky formerly of Cincinnati, Ohio, died on Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at Avow Hospice in Naples. Mr. Bove was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on August 2, 1920 and was a WWII Veteran of the United States Army, serving in the Pacific Theater. He was retired president and owner of Cross County Chrysler Plymouth Dealership. He was a beloved husband and devoted father and grandfather. Both he and his wife, Dorothy loved to travel. Survivors include his beloved wife of 61 years, Dorothy (Provenzano) Bove, two devoted sons, Lon Bove ’69 of Salvador, Brazil and Dana Bove ‘72 of Boulder, CO; two loving grandchildren, Erin and Gabriel Bove. SAVAGE Margaret K. (nee Kutney), born January 8, 1923 in Lansford, Pennsylvania, died December 31, 2009 at Mercy Mt. Airy Hospital, of complications resulting from a pelvic fracture on December 11th. Beloved wife and widow of Patrick J. Savage (deceased September 1953) Margaret is survived by her daughter Cynthia Savage (Allan), her grandchildren Beatrix and Patrick Allan, and her brother John T. Kutney Sr ‘68 and his family (John T. Kutney, Jr.’98). A graduate of the Temple University School of Nursing in Philadelphia, Margaret worked as a registered nurse for 47 years in Mount St. Mary's Hospital in Niagara Falls, NY, Bethesda Hospital on Reading Road and the dispensary at General Electric in Evendale. She was extremely active for many years since her retirement as a volunteer in the community: the Weston Gallery at the Aronoff Center, Sunday school instruction for pre-kindergarten at St James of the Valley, Wyoming, Hospice of Cincinnati in Blue Ash and various activities of the parish ministry services at St James. She also spent many years giving comfort and support to the elderly at Mercy Franciscan Terrace. Her loving kindness and boundless concern for others touched the lives of many people: family, friends and strangers alike. She will be deeply missed.
