Note from Ryan McGoron '10
Hey Guys,
How is it going? I know it’s been a long time since I have written, but so much has been going on at St. Xavier in the last few months from spring break, to deciding on a college, to AP tests, and oh yeah that little thing called Spring. Speaking of which, it’s time for your Spring Orientation. I hope that Monday, May 3rd, and Tuesday May 4th are great experiences for you and your family. We are very excited to welcome you to the St. Xavier Community. Going into this Spring Orientation take it as the first step of your high school career by being yourself and being open to meet new friends.
I can’t believe that my four years at St. Xavier are already over. Time flies by much too fast. This year my class and the entire St. Xavier Community has learned to cherish every moment as if it were our last. I know that next year will only be the beginning of new friends made, football games to attend, songs to sing, and books to read. Speaking of reading, have fun reading Fahrenheit 451and Enders Game this summer. They are great books that pertain meanings that I still remember today. Your mission as a St. Xavier student officially begins with orientation on August 18th and 19th, with the first day of school being on August 23rd. It will be weird walking into the doors of Xavier University and not St. Xavier on the opening day of school. Enjoy your journey and I wish you all the best!
Sincerely,
