REINERT, WILMA KAY (RUMPKE), age 79, passed away on November 14, 2017, after a long battle with Alzheimer's. Wilma was the daughter of the late William and Catherine Rumpke. Beloved wife of William E. Reinert for 60 years. Dear mother of William L. (Mary) Reinert, Cathy (John) Visse, Cheryl (Robert) Mahoney, and Missy (Brendan) Burns ’82. Loving grandmother of Nicole (Garry) Fender, Mark (Jason) Scherer ’04, Robert (Mari) Mahoney ’04, Ryan (Tyra) Scherer, Brittany (Brendan) Hader, William L. Jr., Brendan Burns ’09, Lindsey (Joey) Schoenlaub, Danielle Reinert, Amy Burns, Ben (Alayzia) Scherer, Bradley J. Reinert, Ashley (fiancé Randy Keller) Mahoney, Timmy (fiancé Allie Bickel) Mahoney ’12, Amanda Burns, Leanne (Daron) Linderman, Patrick Burns ’16, Nicole Visse, Lexi Reinert, Abby Burns, and the late Kelly Mahoney. Great grandmother of Kyra Parisey, Bobby and Lincoln Mahoney, Kaylie Hader, Brynn and Brady Scherer, Adelynn Mahoney, and Aden Keller. Sister to Claire (the late Walter) Stepaniak, William (Bonnie) Rumpke, and the late Lois (Edward) Rosselot. Sister-in-law to Genie and Edward Reinert. Wilma was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. She enjoyed spending time with her family. Visitation will be held at Charles C. Young Funeral Home, 4032 Hamilton Cleves Road, Ross, OH on Friday, November 17, 2017, from 5-8 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John Dry Ridge, 5361 Dry Ridge Road Cincinnati, OH 45252 on Saturday at 1:00 PM. MATRE, JOHN H. "JACK" Beloved husband of the late Barbara (McKinley) Matre. Dear father of John (the late Molly) and David (Debbi) Matre. Loving grandfather 9 grandchildren, including Kevin Matre ’03 and 4 great grandchildren. Devoted brother of Dorothy (the late George) Parker. Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 15, 2017. Age 90 years. Mr. Matre was retired after 35 years as a Music Educator with the Reading Public School District. He served honorably in the US Army during WWII. Visitation will be held at Neidhard Young Funeral Home, 7401 Hamilton Avenue, Mt. Healthy on Monday, November 20 from 5-8 PM. BARNHART, PATSEY L. (NEE CALDWELL) age 89 of Anderson Twp., died November 14th. 2017. She was in her home, per her request until this past week where she spent her final hours at Hospice of Cincinnati Blue Ash, a wonderful service to the community. Patsey was born July 1, 1928 in Cincinnati, Ohio. She attended Withrow High School and became a switch board phone operator until she married Garold W. Barnhart July 24th, 1953 after returning from his service in the Korean war. They raised a son and a daughter, Pamela Darlynn Barnhart Nurre and Garold Lee (Butch) Barnhart. She was an Eastern Star and loved her yard, pets, birds and just being a Mom. She supported many animal groups among other charities. Her world revolved around her grandchildren, Justin W. Nurre ’02, Bridget R. Jennions Nurre, Morgan E, Barnhart, Brittany P. Nurre ,Elliot M. Barnhart and her great granddaughter Kylie S. Nurre. She is survived by her sister Bonna L. Philhower, Charles Philhower and her brother Donald Caldwell. She is preceded in death by her husband Garold W. Barnhart and her son in law William J. Nurre. Funeral service will be held at T.P. White & Sons Funeral Home, 2050 Beechmont Ave., Mt. Washington, on Friday, Nov. 17 at 1:30 pm. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Friday from 12:30 to 1:30 pm. SHANNON, DANIEL PATRICK, JR. left this world surrounded by his wife and loving family with his rosary in his hand. Dan leaves behind his wife of 64 years, Pat, 8 children Trisha (Ted) Leugers ’68, Dan (Lily), Jean, Gerald (Heidi), Kevin (Lori), Brian (Terri), Kate (Andy) Czupik, and Mary Beth, twenty six grandchildren, including Brian Shannon ’12 and 7 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 11:30AM - 12:45PM on Wednesday November 8 at St. Gertrude Parish Center, Madeira, Ohio, following which, a celebratory Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 1 PM.
