In the 2nd quarter, he scored 8 more points to lead all scorers at halftime with 21 total. The Bombers played well around him too as senior Brandon Gilbert scored 4 points in the first quarter with two points coming from a dunk in transition. The Bombers scored a total of 22 points in the 3rd quarter with senior Bobby Jefferson scoring four points of his own and sophomore Danny Greive scoring 3 points with a layup as time expired to give St. Xavier a 64-45 lead after three quarters.
Stockman did not quite get to the school record for single game points set by Johnny Wolf in 2004-2005 season but he did score three more points in the 4th quarter to end the night with 36 total. The Bombers scored 12 more points total in the final quarter and the Middies did not have enough firepower to come back as St. Xavier finished the night with a 76-53 victory.
Stockman's 36 points is the third highest single game for points in school history. He finished the night 15 for 24 from the field (5-10 3FG) with 5 steals and 4 rebounds. Gilbert was the other Bomber in double figures with 15 points on 7 for 13 shooting and collected 4 rebounds, 3 steals and 1 assist on the night.
