Science Olympiad Moves on to State

The St. Xavier Science Olympiad team finished 4th on Saturday, March 1, 2014 at the Southwest Ohio Regional Science Olympiad competition in Blue Ash.

From a field of 23 different teams, the top six teams go on to the state competition in Columbus at The Ohio State University on April 26th.

The St. X team earned two first place medals, two 4th place medals, and a 5th and 6th place medal from 23 different events.

1st place: Forensics – Josh Roberson & Max Marshall

Rocks & Minerals – Zach Huber & Evan Reid

4th place: Astronomy - Josh Roberson & Max Marshall

Dynamic Planet – Josh Roberson & Nick Seifert

5th Place: Disease Detectives – Nathan Jones & Benak Vrishabendra

6th Place: Geologic Mapping – Zach Huber & Connor Aronoff
